The northerly Whale migration generally peaks during the last two or three weeks of June and early July. However, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

We will be running a Vertical Mobility Workshop on Sunday 4th June 2023.

The aim is to master ascent and descent on the rope incorporating prussiking, different equipment and techniques. These manoeuvres will then be used in problem solving, self-rescue, changing ropes, and crossing knots etc. Rescue hierarchy will be discussed.

There will be a maximum of 20 participants. Registration is to be completed through the Scout Events website.

RockSchool are hosting the abseiling portion of this weekend on behalf of South Met Region, due to Camp Coutts being flood affected.

Bushwalk - CURRA MOORS to EAGLE ROCK

There are Park fees applicable per vehicle.

We will meet at 8:30am at either Loftus Oval, or perhaps Sutherland Swimming Pool; so that we can reduce the number of vehicles, due to limited parking space. This will be decided when I know how many vehicles and participants will be attending.
