Bushwalk at Kurnell

WALK DETAILS.

This walk has been chosen to coincide with whales migrating northwards past Kurnell headlands. Generally, over the years, the greatest number of whales passing Kurnell occurs during the last 3 to 4 weeks of June, but there is no guarantee.

Abseiling reccie in the Blue Mountains

We have planned a weekend away in the Blue Mountains, to do a bit of a reccie for some future abseiling we have planned. We might also be able to do a bit of 4 Wheel driving/All Wheel driving, if we get the chance. We won’t be camping, but are planning to stay at some Guides accommodation in the area.

We have a limited number of places available if you would like to join us for the weekend. A more detailed plan will be formulated, closer to the date.

Possible ANSTO Visit * POSTPONED *

Due to COVID-19 and current self-isolation procedures, the activity has been postponed to a later date.

For SCAASF members, we are trying to organise a visit to ANSTO at Lucas Heights, to view the nuclear reactor.

This is a tentative activity at the moment, so watch this space.

Dragonskin 2020 * CANCELLED *

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, Dragonskin has been cancelled this year.

SCAASF will once again be running a base at Dragonskin.
