There are Park fees applicable per vehicle.

We will meet at 8:30am at either Loftus Oval, or perhaps Sutherland Swimming Pool; so that we can reduce the number of vehicles, due to limited parking space.    This will be decided when I know how many vehicles and participants will be attending.

The Plan is to follow a “looping route” in lieu of retracing our steps.   This will require at least two vehicles as we would need to “drop” most walkers off at the start, whilst the drivers move most vehicles to the end; this vehicle “turn-round” would take less the 10 minutes.

As there are no facilities along our route we will have a brief stop at the NPWS Office area on our way to the start location.

The walk will be at leisurely pace and is approximately 7.5Kms long, with some mild uphill sections. There is an option to add another 3kms on the day, if all are agreeable.

Initially along a Service trail then following well marked tracks to Eagle Rock for lunch - then returning to the vehicles, mostly along a different route.

I estimate, at this time, that we would return to the vehicles at approximately 2:30pm, later if we decide to add the additional 3Kms to the trek.  

WEAR - suitable clothes for the day, including enclosed footwear (they are likely to get wet), long pants, jumpers, perhaps wind jacket.

BRING - water, snacks, lunch, sun protection and cream, 1^st Aid Kit etc.   A camera if you wish.

Following the walk, we could decide to drive to the Audley kiosk for coffee.

It is essential that those intending to come inform me directly;  I need to know the number of vehicles and an indication of total numbers.   If I do not know your coming – you will not know any final alterations to the plan
